    Re: NBA Playoffs

finally we agree on something haha

lebron is the league mvp, no doubt, and the cavs would suck without him.

but i do disagree about the ring in cleveland point, if he stays, he will make them make the team better, so expect to see them cut loose some of the shit weight like wally szer. and ben wallace and boobie gibson, expect them to go pursue a big name defender or a big name big man in the next couple years. they do have a great one-two combo with lebron and mo williams, but they need one more solid defender and scorer.

    Re: NBA Playoffs

Yall are talking like the series is through already, it isn't done yet. The Cavs will win game 5, yes that one is a guarantee from me. I think if they can win Game 6, they won't lose 7...but that's a big if. It took how many threes for them to win a 1 point game at home? So, it's still not completely over..Cleveland is in a tough spot, but it's not over.

only 8 teams have come back from a 3-1 defecit.

cleveland does really have a chance, but they HAVE to win the next two games.

if they let orlando hit 20+ threes, the cavs will be at home soon.

It can happen. Laker fans should be able to remember a few years back when PHX did the very same thing to them.

    Re: NBA Playoffs

That series is over. I think Cleveland has only beaten Orlando 3 times the last 3 years or something, and thats counting the playoffs this year. Orlando is just a bad matchup for Cleveland.

I agree on the Lebron thing too. Great player, theres not many chinks in his armour. I thought he was better his rookie year than I expectecd him to be coming out, and he's only gotten better. Finally shot the 3 decent this year. It had been a big problem of his the past couple of years.

    Re: NBA Playoffs

the officiating in this game has been TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    its not even funny anymore

the foul that nene fouled out on, two of the gasol blocks, billiups (supposed) hold, then melo getting creamed and NOTHING called.

these refs need to apologize to denver.
this is the worst case of home cooking I have ever seen in the NBA. Its sickening that the NBA western conference finals are still officiated with the laker/celtic bias.

if denver got a fair shake in this game, they would be in contention, not losing their hold this bad late in the 4th.

    Re: NBA Playoffs

The Nene foul definitely looked like a charge on Gasol. Most of the replays showed that the refs got the calls correct. Neither side got too many fouls on drives in this one. Kobe didn't get any calls on drives and neither did the Nuggets.

I, for one, like how the game was called. Of course I am a Lakers fan, but they let them play in the 4th quarter. No bail out foul calls.

Lakers could say the same thing about the other night in Denver. Officiating in the NBA is a joke-always has been, always will be. I guess if Burton 13 loved every minute of the other night,he hated the hell out of tonight. Kobe got some help with some folks stepping it up tonight. Kobe gets a bad rep as a selfish player, but he buried the Nuggets via the dish(es). tonight. BTW it sure was sweet watching J.R. Smith suck arse tonight (no posing tonight playa).

Glad Biggin said that for me, it's whining when I do it. But it was just plain awful and ridiculous. If this goes to 7, they better get a huge lead and play incredibly well.
